There are different ways of experiencing abdominal or stomach pain. Most of us have experienced having a stomach pain. It is usually through childhood that this condition is felt and quite often. Any pain that is persistent or recurring should be checked out whether it is felt in the back or the stomach area of the body. Pain is a symptom of a root cause and should not be ignored. It has been noted by researchers that back and stomach pain is often psychosomatic. The underlying reasons for this could be emotional or mental anxiety.
Pain can be the cause of further symptoms such as vomiting and fever. Vomiting is not an indication that there is anything wrong with the stomach. Severe back pain could cause vomiting or pain from an infection in the kidneys, bladder or stomach. The infection could be started by a virus. This could disappear in twenty four hours but if it does not consult a doctor, and if there is a fever do not wait that long before seeking medical assistance.
